The last time the Phillies were in Game 6 of the World Series, Joe Carter's three-run homer sent the Phillies home. As far as the Yankees' last World Series Game 6, it was 2003 against the Marlins. Andy Pettitte pitched that game-and lost.
If Pettitte loses tonight's Game 6, the Phillies will have tied the series 3-3, and will go on to the first Game 7 in their long history tomorrow night. If Pettitte wins it will be his second win of the Series and his second World Series clinching victory of his long career. We like....

The Yankees look to close the Series out and celebrate their 27th World Series Championship. AJ Burnett comes back on short rest against Cliff Lee who has been excellent in the post season. Will this Series get back to the Bronx? We'll let you know.

Game 4 could prove to be the series changer as the Yankes try to step on the Phillies necks by throwng CC at them. If the Yankees win this one, the Phillies chances of winning the series are slim. The Phillies start Joe Blanton in a spot in which their season could hand in the balance.
